What’s new in Author-it
- We’ve improved Magellan load times. Load times have been improved across the Magellan websites, resulting in faster loading pages and faster search results. We’ve improved Magellan load times across Magellan websites, resulting in faster loading pages and faster search results.
- We’ve added support for Chinese characters to Magellan search outputs. If your Magellan website is already set up to be published in Chinese, you won’t need to do anything, just republish. Your readers will enjoy the same search benefits as the other supported Magellan languages.
- Translation jobs can now be filtered by user. The filter lets you view which translation jobs were created by specific users. To filter by user, create a new translation jobs filter, then select the Users tab.
- We’ve added the ability to search by book code when creating a translation job. When starting a translation job, enter the book’s code into the translation bar. It’s a quick and easy way to find books, especially if you’re familiar with your library’s codes. You can also use the Translations advanced search to search by book code.
- We’ve continued fixing bugs as you raise them with us — including several to Magellan’s search function, which should give you better, and faster, search results.
