Version 4.1.473 (24-Dec-2004)
The following issues have been resolved in this build:
- When working in a language that requires Unicode, there could be an error saving Related Topic Groups.
- When publishing to Word, the document properties (title, subject and author) were corrupted in Japanese.
- When publishing to HTML, half width katakana (Japanese) characters being used at the beginning of a title caused problems.
- When publishing to WinHelp (for Japanese) body text could end up numbered and normal numbered lists could start at zero.
- When creating a localization library (or localization update) the language is now set (Administrator > Language).
- If a topic had two embedded topics adjacent to each other containing tables (which were joined together) the first embedded topic was lost during save.
- The Media and File objects 'additional file' paths were always saving as full absolute paths, not relative ones.
- Exporting to and Importing from Author-it XML files did not include the 'additional files' data for Media and File objects.
- Localization updates including updated file objects pointing to linked files were not including the linked file.
- When publishing JavaHelp, popups didn't always work.
The following new features have been added this build:
- Importing and exporting translation jobs now creates a log file (same name and folder as XML file).
- When exporting to XML from a localization library, and importing it into a localization library in the same group, you are now prompted to see if you wish to preserve object IDs.
- The Localization Manager can now create a 'bulk localization update' to update all localizations that share the same rules at the same time. Right click on the Localizations icon in the LM for new option.
- The Search tab now includes the option to Resolve Subbooks when you search for objects used within a book.
