Disinherited properties still showing as inherited

Problem

If you base a new object template on an existing template, choose apply, then base it on none (to be able to set then change the properties), the properties are still showing as inherited and can't be changed.

Workaround

You need to close and reopen the object before the properties are recognised as not being inherited.
