Wrong Insertion Point when Pasting a Table Inside Another

Problem

When trying to paste a table inside another table, the table is always inserted at the beginning of the cell it's being inserted into, and not where the cursor is at the time of insertion.

Workaround

Use the Split Table option from the Table menu to reposition the table after it has been inserted:

  1. Paste (or nest) the table in the cell, allowing it to move to the beginning of the cell.
  2. Position your cursor in the first cell of the nested table
  3. Choose Table > Split Table from the Book Editor or right-click menu.

An empty paragraph is inserted in the cell before the nested table, allowing you to enter/reposition the text that should appear before it.
