Alignment Element

Determines how this groups will be aligned to other groups in the same Group Position in the published output. There are 2 alignment options:

Vertically - the group will be placed directly below other groups in this position.
Horizontally - the group will be placed beside other groups in this position.

The order of groups to each other is determined by the Related Group Sequence.

The Alignment element corresponds to the "Align this group" field, on the Position sub-tab, on the Related Topics tab, of the Topic object.
