Copying a Translation Job

Rather than creating a new Translation Job each time a document requires translation, you can copy an existing Job. When the Job is copied, the same properties and rules are also copied, saving you valuable time. This is ideal when a Book has been modified, and needs to be retranslated.

To Copy a Translation Job

  1. Select the Job that you want to copy
  2. Choose the Copy Job button on the main toolbar

    -or-

Right click and choose Copy Job...

  3. Author-it creates and displays a duplicate of the original Translation Job with "Copy of " inserted at the beginning of the description.
  4. Change any settings, including modifying the Job Description, then choose OK to save your changes.
  5. A new Job is created with the status of Ready for Translation.
