Using Command Line Parameters to Automate Processes

Author-it supports a number of command line parameters, enabling you to automatically open a library and login as a particular user, and perform certain tasks unattended.

You can use command line parameters to publish your documents, create and/or check in offline libraries, and perform administrative tasks such as exporting a SQL library to JET, and compacting a JET library.

You'll need to supply several parameters, so that Author-it knows exactly what you want.

Note: User details (user account and password) need to be supplied in the command line so the process can run unprompted. Alternatively you can use the Automatically Login To Library option.
