Author-it XML Format (for Translation)

This document describes the XML format exported by Author-it as part of a translation job.

Within Author-it there are 13 different object types, 9 of which contain translatable content. Each of these object types has a corresponding XML structure. The XML for each object type is described in this document.

All selected objects will be exported to a single XML file with an Author-it root element. The filename will be the same as the name of the translation job in Localization Manager, and will have the ".xml" extension. An XML schema file is also included. This file will have the ".xsd" extension.
