Version 4.0.431 (17-Mar-2003)

The following issues have been resolved in this build:

• When publishing in all outputs, characters in the extended ASCII character were replaced with a question mark in headings, hypertext links (and several other places).
• When saving a Topic containing an embedded Topic, some character style information could be lost.
• Using CTRL + < and CTRL + > to move backwards and forward within the Book Editor could cause "," and "." characters to appear in the new Topic if the CTRL key was release before the "<" or ">" key.
• When importing HTML files, the background color was being imported and was unable to be changed within the newly created Topic.
• When publishing to WinHelp, File objects were incorrectly using the "appear in print" setting not the "appear in WinHelp" one.
• When importing Help Projects (HPJ files) some Topics were incorrectly appearing in the non-Table of Contents section, and appear empty in the TOC.
• The default library HTML import rules contained rules for H1 to H6 but not Heading 1 to Heading 6, these have been added to the default libraries. For example, here is the change made to the HTML import rule for HTML files H1 to test if the paragraph style is H1 or Heading 1:

  

• When exporting to SQL Server, the export failed with an error "the entity PrimaryKey already exists" in the SQL Server database. This only affected libraries created with version 4, libraries created in earlier versions exported correctly.
• When publishing to HTML, Row and column spanning were not working in some cases.
• When publishing to JavaHelp, the related topics had gaps between them (caused by lack of margin-top = 0 and margin-bottom = 0 in the stylesheet.css).
• When publishing to JavaHelp, if a topic occurs multiple times in the book only the first instance worked.
• The administrator has been changed to allow a greater range of floating licences.
