HTML Properties

The HTML tab contains properties that define how the Index object will publish an Index page in HTML or an HTML Help index in HTML Help or HTML. These properties define things like the title, the HTML page setup, and what entries Author-it will include in the Index page.

HTML Index Title

Defines a title for the Index in the HTML pages. This title has a style of "Heading 1" automatically applied in the published HTML. If a Style object with the same name exists, its CSS definition will be used.

HTML Build Index From

Determines what entries Author-it will include in the HTML index page or HTML Help index. You can choose one or more of:

  • Index Entries - will include entries defined in the Index Contents.
  • Topic Heading - will include an entry for each HTML Topic Heading.
  • Hypertext Links - will include an entry for the referenced topic, at the point from where it is referenced.
