Adding a Rule
When formatting in your documents is not identified by an existing rule, you can create a new rule.

You can quickly create rules during the Import Preview.
To Add a Rule:
- Select Import > Transformation Rules from the main menu.
The Import Rules window appears, showing all the rules in your library.

- Choose the New button.
- Select the rule type, and give your rule a name and description.
- If the rule type selected is 'Create Topic in Document' you will see a Topic Creation tab.
- If the rule type selected is 'Apply Author-it Style' you will see a Style Mapping tab.
- If the rule type selected is 'Find/Replace Text' you will see a Find and Replace tab.
- Select the Topic Creation, Style Mapping, or Find and Replace tab, and enter the criteria for your rule.
- Save your changes.
