Adding a Specific Link to an Existing Related Topic GroupQuite often you may want to create a specific link in the automatically created list of Related Topics (such as the "See Also" group). For example, in a "How Do I?" topic, I may want to add a link to a specific Topic elsewhere in my Book. But... when you click on the Related Topics tab for a topic object, and choose the group and select the Specific Link tab, you cannot add a link as the setting is inherited. You can however, copy another group heading (for example the "See Also" group) to the Related Topics tab so you have two identical groups. You can then add the Specific link to the new group - the published output will combine the Special and Specific links from both groups into one group. Note: If the Appearance and Position settings differ, they will be overwritten. |
