Page Numbering Missing in Word Document

Problem

When I publish my Word document, the page numbering is not displayed.

Reason

Page numbering is defined by the Media Objects used in your document - and is inserted into the Headers or Footers using autotext entries. The headers and footers used are also defined by the Media object - if you have set the Headers/Footers to "none", your page numbering won't appear.

Solution

Ensure the Media objects used in your document use Headers or Footers with the page reference field.
