Adding a Full Text Search Engine to your Published HTML

Including a full text search in you HTML documents makes information easier to find. Author-it provides features to allow combining any search engine with your HTML documents.

You can use either of the supplied scripts for full text search or elect to use your own. Use the DHTML Search files to implement a client based search engine, or the CGI FTS files to implement a server based search engine. You can even integrate your own full text search engine. The main strength of these solutions is that we do not force you down a specific path by hard coding the functionality. You choose the option that best meets your needs.
