Variable Assignments

Variables act as placeholders for changeable data. The default value of a Variable can be replaced in an object. It is useful to see which objects have been assigned new Variable values.

Displaying Variable Assignments

1. From the main menu choose Tools > Variables > List. The Variables window appears displaying a list of available Variables.
2. Choose the Variable that you wish to view the assignments of, right-click it, then choose Assignments from the shortcut menu. The Variable Assignments window appears displaying the objects in which the Variable has been assigned a new value.

   

3. When you have finished viewing, choose OK to close the Variable Assignments window.
4. Choose OK to close the Variable List window.
