With Author-it, you build your document from reusable components, or "objects". This object-oriented design is the heart of Author-it's powerful document creation abilities.

Each type of object is designed to represent a specific aspect of your document. This Chapter describes the properties or settings of the thirteen different types of object. For an alphabetical listing of those properties, refer to Author-it's Help system.
