Object Properties

The Object Properties window is used to view or update properties assigned to a Book, Topic, or File object. The object properties include tabs for:

• General settings - all objects
• Metadata assignments - Book and Topic only
• View - A View tab is included for Topic objects. File Objects include a preview pane under each output tab.
• Print output settings - all objects
• Help output settings - all objects
• Web output settings - all objects
• XML previews - all objects
• History compare - all objects

The properties window is opened from the Book Contents, Folder list, or Search results. Right-click on the object and choose Object Properties from the shortcut menu, or choose one of the tabs listed in the menu.
