Setting User Options

You can control some of the ways Author-it behaves, by changing the settings which are stored against your User Account details.

To Set the User Options

1. From the Tools menu choose Options. The User Options window appears.

   

2. The window contains several tabs of settings. Some of the settings are saved in the current Library, others are saved on your computer. Change the settings to suit your preferences.

   Note: When changing the File Locations, check with your systems administrator to see what they should be set to.

3. Choose OK. Your preferences are saved and the window closes.
