acrocheck Integration

acrocheck™ is the quality assurance tool provided by acrolinx. It provides a means of checking the quality of content at the time it is written to help ensure that proper terminology is used, and that the content is written in a way that conforms with an organization's guidelines. Among other things, acrocheck checks terminology, style, grammar, and spelling.

If installed, Author-it automatically detects acrocheck's presence and integrates seamlessly.

To Set Up acrocheck with Author-it

  1. Ensure the acrocheck server is installed.
  2. Ensure the acrocheck word client is installed on each PC.
  3. Open your library in Author-it Administrator and create a variable <ACROCHECKPROXY>

    acrocheck Variable

  4. Set the default value to point to the acrocheck web service.
