Accepting or Rejecting a Task

When a Task is assigned to you, you must first either accept it or reject it.

  • If you accept the Task, you can begin work on it.
  • If you reject the Task, it goes back to the person who assigned it to you.

Before you make this decision, it may be a good idea to view the Task's details.

To Accept or Reject a Task

  1. From the Tasks tab of the Library Explorer, select the Task you want to accept or reject.
  2. Right-click on the Task, then:
    • To accept the Task, choose Accept from the shortcut menu.
    • To reject the Task, choose Reject from the shortcut menu.

The Task is accepted or rejected immediately.
