Adding a Task
Projects are made up from a series of tasks. A task is an activity that has a beginning and end. Tasks can be assigned to Users or Groups.
To Add a Task
- From the Main toolbar, choose the New Task button.
-OR-
From the Main menu, choose Insert > New Task.
The new task window appears.

- Enter a Task Name.
- Enter a brief Description of the task.
You may enter information into the following optional fields:
- Start Date.
- Due Date.
- Duration
- Percentage Complete
- Status
- Priority
- User
- Approver
- Choose OK to save the Task.
