All Of My Captions Are Missing

Problem

I have inserted several OLE objects, and set them to display a caption beneath the figure. I've generated my Word document, but when I view it the captions do not appear.

Reason

You are using Word's "Normal" view. Because the captions are inside frames in the left margin of the document, you need to use Page Layout view, not Normal view, to be able to see them.

Solution

Switch to Page Layout view.
