Publishing Content to Website Manager

When you're ready to publish your content from Author-it select the book and publish to Website Manager. Author-it Website Manager creates HTML files, image files, and an XML file containing the information to build the sitemap.

Localized content is translated as normal through Author-it Localization Manager, then published to Website Manager output moved to language specific subfolders in the Author-it Website Manager Content folder.

To Publish Website Content:

1. From the Library Explorer, right-click on the book and choose Publish To > Website Manager.

   -or-

   From the Book Editor menu, choose Publish > Publish To > Website Manager.

   -or-

   From the Author-it main menu, choose Publish > Publish To > Website Manager.

   Note: This option is disabled if there is no book open.

2. After publishing the files need to be moved to a subfolder in the Author-it Website Manager Content folder for Review.
