Creating a Book

The Book object has two roles:

1. It defines the look and feel for the presentation according to the book template it is based on,

   -and-

2. It represents the content and structure of the presentation.

When you create a presentation you'll base your book on a particular presentation book template. The presentation book template references all of the additional files needed to create a presentation based on a specific look and feel. For example, the Presentation Square book template references specific additional files needed to create the Square presentation theme, while the Presentation Gold book template references a different set of files needed to create the Gold presentation theme. To change the look of a presentation all you need to do is change the book template and republish.

To Create a Book:

1. Select the folder you want the book to be created in.
2. From the main menu, choose Author > Create > Book. Select a presentation template to base your object on from the submenu.
