Publishing the Presentation

Presentations can be published to HTML or XHTML to create slide shows, and to Word to create printed handouts.

When publishing to Word, using the template Presentations.dot, handouts are created with one slide per page and a footer displaying the publishing date and slide number. If your printer allows it, you can also print multiple slides per page. As a general guide, up to six slides per page ensures the slides remain legible.

To Publish the Presentation:

  1. From the Library Explorer right-click on the Author-it Sample Presentation Book and choose Publish To, then choose HTML or XHTML, or Word.

    -or-

From the Editor menu, choose Publish > Publish To > Web, then choose HTML or XHTML

    -or-

Choose Publish > Publish To > Print, then choose Word.

  2. Progress is shown as Author-it publishes the presentation.
