Deleting a Localization

If you no longer use a Localization, you can permanently delete it from the Library. It is not possible to permanently delete a Localization if it contains updates as this would create orphans. You must first delete the updates.

Warning: Once you have deleted a Localization, it cannot be recovered. When a Localization is deleted all tracking and historical information linking objects in the Source Library to the Localization is lost. Be careful.

To Delete a Localization:

  • Select the Localization that you want to delete.

Choose Localizations > Delete Localization from the menu

    -or-

Choose Delete Localization on the Localizations toolbar

    -or-

    Right-click and choose Delete Localization.

Note: You cannot delete a Localization if it has updates. The updates must be deleted first.
