Deleting a Translation Job

If you've created a Translation Job in error or wish to remove an old Job that is no longer needed, it can be deleted permanently from the Target library.

Warning: Once you have deleted a Translation Job, all record of that Job is removed from the Target library. You will not be able to import any XML that may have been exported before the Job was deleted. All tracking records will be lost. Be careful.

To Delete a Translation Job:

  1. Select the Translation Job that you want to delete.
  2. Choose Translation Jobs > Delete from the menu

    -or-

    Choose Delete on the Translation Jobs toolbar

    -or-

    Right-click and choose Delete.

  3. A message appears asking you to confirm the action. Choose Yes to delete the Job. If the Job had been exported, any object locks that were created are removed in the Target library.

    Note: Any Release State that was applied to the objects in the Target library when they were first exported is not removed automatically and will need to be modified manually if necessary.
