Log in to the LibraryAuthor-it Libraries can be used by a single user, or by many people at the same time. Each user must log in to the library with their own credentials. This helps keep track of who does what and when they did it. It also enables you to control what actions can be performed by each person. The user names in the Acme Sample indicate the role each user has within the organization. Security permissions have been granted based on those roles. For example, Tex Ryta has full access to objects within the Technical Publications folder, restricted (read-only) access to Sales and Marketing, but cannot access content in Human Resources. Feel free to explore the ACME Library using different user names. When you start using your own library, your Author-it Administrator will create a log in for each user, using your own name and giving you relevant security access.
If you know you'll be logging in to the same Library under the same User Account name, then you can turn on the Automatic Login feature by ticking the checkbox before you login.
For this tutorial, you can log in as either Tex Ryta or Anne Ortha. To Login to the Library:
