Step 2 - Select the File to Import

The Importer can import many files and merge them into one Book.

To Select Files To Import:

1. Select the file, or files, you want to import. You can select more than one file at a time if they are in the same folder.
2. Choose Open. The Select a File window closes and the Importer begins to analyze your document, using the default profile for that document type.

   

   Note: The Importer uses the default Profile to import your document. To choose a different Profile, select Back.

   Once Author-it has finished analyzing your document, the Topic Structure Wizard opens.
