Using Drag and Drop to Create File Objects

You can use drag and drop to batch import images (or import single images) and quickly create file objects. Once the file object has been created you can drag it into your topic, or insert it from the folder or from thumbnails.

Note: If selecting multiple images, they must all be of the same file format.

To Create a File Object using Drag and Drop:

1. Select an image file (or files) and drag and drop into the object list in the main window. A Create File Objects window opens prompting you to choose a Description, Template, and the Folder to create the file object(s) in.

   

   Tip: Accepting the default <File Title> description, names the file objects using the name of the existing image file.

2. Select the template and folder.

   

3. Choose OK to create and save each file object.
