Configuring Publishing in Author-it Service Manager

To Configure the Publishing Service:

1. Right-click on Publishing and choose Configure Service. The Publishing Settings window opens.
   • Select Start Automatically.
   • Add the name assigned to the publishing queue (also used in the library's PUBLISHING_QUEUE variable).
   • Add the paths to the compilers (include the .exe file in the path).
   • Add the paths to the JavaHelp and OracleHelp folders (located in the Author-it\Compilers folder).

     

2. Save your changes.
3. Right-click on Publishing and choose Start Service.

   

4. Close the Author-it Service Manager window.
