Publishing from Author-it Live

Author-it Live uses the following process for publishing and viewing documents.

Live Publishing

	The publishing job is created when the document and output type is selected in Live. The job is added to the queue assigned to the library. The name used by the queue is defined in the variable.
	Author-it publishes the document. The publishing service monitors the queue looking for jobs that have been completed.
	The service uses the publishing path defined in the variable to copy the output from the Author-it Publishing folder to the virtual folder.
	Once the content has been copied to the virtual folder, Live uses the publishing URL defined in the variable to view the output.

To Complete the Publishing Requirements:

Create a virtual folder on the web site to enable Author-it Live users to view published content. Open IIS Manager and select the web site entry. Create a virtual folder and point it to the Publishing folder in the Author-it install.
Create the Author-it Live variables in Author-it Administrator.
Give the publishing user full permissions to the Publishing folder in the Author-it install folder.
Restart the IIS Manager default website and the Author-it Service.
