Installing Author-it Live Components

The following installation files are used for Author-it Live, and are installed on the web server:

• The Author-it Live Editor and Author-it Live Configuration Tool. Installation is a two-step process comprising running the editor and configuration tool setups, and then completing the access and general settings in the configuration tool.
• If you are an Xtend user you'll also install the Author-it Live Xtend Service and configure the settings in the Author-it Live Configuration Tool.
• The Author-it Service Manager controls the system's services used for publishing and Xtend. After the installation, open the configuration tool and complete the the settings for Xtend and publishing.
