Creating Variants and Modifying Variant Criteria

The following options are available for working with variants:

Create a new variant based on an existing object.
Convert an existing object to a variant.
Edit a variant's criteria to match a different flavor of the document.
Convert a variant to an original object by removing the link between the variant and its parent.

Note: To enable the variant options in Author-it you must first create the variant criteria in Author-it Administrator.
