Uploading the Files Using the Publishing Profile Action
The Website Manager publishing profile is used to publish, upload, and automate the process of adding the files for your review website. If you are localizing your website, create a publishing profile for each language and point to the correct language subfolder.
The publishing profile uses two actions:
- The FTP action moves the content from the publishing folder to the web server.
- The Website Manager action triggers the add pages process, updating content in the review website.
To Update the Publishing Profile:
- Open your Website Manager Publishing Profile and choose the Actions tab.
- Select File Transfer from the actions list. The FTP action window opens. Add the settings required to access your webserver, and select Include "All Output" under the files to send.
Note: The Host Directory is the language subfolder in the Review/Content folder. Show the full path in this field, for example, [website]/review/content/en

- Choose Test Connection. You will receive a "connection successful" message if the FTP action is able to connect to the host directory. If the connection is not successful, correct the settings and retest the connection.
- When the connection is successful choose OK to save the settings and close the window.
- Select Website Manager from the actions list. The Website Manager action window opens.
- Select the actions, then choose the move item down arrow to move each action to the After Publishing list (ensure the FTP action is listed first).
- Choose Apply, then choose OK to close the profile window.
