Offline Library Settings and Properties

The Properties window lets you see and modify details about how offline files are treated, and whether or not you are prompted to create and check in your offline library.

To Change the Library Properties:

1. Right-click the offline library icon and choose Properties....
2. Switch to the Offline Files tab:
   • Update the path if you are going to store the library in a different location.
   • Select an option for including or excluding external files in the offline library.

     

     Note: Author-it uses the name and path in the check in process. If the information in the properties does not match the name and location of the offline library Author-it may not be able to complete the check in.

3. Switch to the Automation tab:
   • Select an option for creating the offline library.
   • Select an option for checking in the offline library.

     

4. Choose OK to save your changes and close the window.
