Logging In to the Library Using Active Directory

When you log in using Active Directory, Author-it uses your network domain and user name as authentication and logs you in to the Library through Author-it Live.

To Login to the Author-it Live Editor Using Active Directory:

1. Open an Internet Explorer browser window and navigate to the Author-it Live site. The Author-it Live Login window is opened.
2. Add the database name, and select the Active Directory option.
   • The Database is the Alias or user friendly name assigned to the library.
   • The Username field is automatically filled using your network login details (using the format: domain\username). Leave the Password field empty.

     

3. Choose Login.
