Copy File

The Copy File action copies the selected files to a specified location. You can copy selected file to the publishing folder, or copy selected files from the publishing folder to another location. Wildcards enable you to copy all files in a specific format, for example, *.gif.

To Copy Files To the Publishing Folder:

1. Open the publishing profile and select the Actions tab.
2. Select the Copy Files action.
3. Select To publishing folder. The Browse button is added to the Copy file(s) field.
4. Locate the files you want to copy to the publishing folder.
5. Choose OK to save the action. The action is added to the Before Publishing list. To move the action to the After Publish list select the action and choose the Move Down arrow. Save the changes to the profile.

To Copy Files From the Publishing Folder:

1. Open the publishing profile and select the Actions tab.
2. Select the Copy Files action.
3. Use wildcards to identify the type of files you are going to copy, or choose All output in publishing folder.
4. Select From publishing folder to and browse to the folder where you want to copy the files.
5. Choose OK to save the action. The action is added to the Before Publishing list. To move the action to the After Publish list select the action and choose the Move Down arrow. Save the changes to the profile.
