Displaying Variables

You can display a list of available Variables and view their properties.

To Display Variables:

1. Open the Library using Author-it Administrator.
2. Choose Variables > Maintain Variables from the main menu. The variables window opens.

   

3. Select a variable and:
   • Choose Properties.

     -or-

   • Right-click and choose Properties.

     -or-

   • Double-click the variable.

     The variable default settings window opens.

     

4. When you have finished, choose OK to close the window.

Note: The information that appears in the Variable default settings window can be edited.
