Displaying Variable Usage for the Library

Variables can be used throughout the Topics in your book. It is useful to see which objects in your Library use particular variables.

Displaying Variable Usage for the Library:

1. In the main window choose the Author-it Button > Manage Variables. The Variables window opens and displays the list of variables available in the library.
2. Choose a variable, then right-click and choose Usage. The Variable Usage window opens displaying which objects in your Library use the Variable.

   

3. When you have finished viewing, close the window.
4. Close the Variable List window.
