The Offline Library Folder

When the offline library option has been enabled, the Offline Folder Icon icon is displayed at the end of the folder list.

Show Offline Folder

From the icon you can complete the following actions:

  • Right-click and choose Properties to update the offline library properties.
  • Right-click and choose Create Offline Library to create your offline library.
  • Right-click and choose Check-In Offline Library to check in your offline library.
  • Select the icon to open the offline library folder and display objects that are checked out when the library is created.

Depending on how objects are checked out, you can use the offline library folder to keep track of items added to an offline library. When you select and check out objects they are added to the offline folder. You can select objects individually, or multi-select a group. You can also drag objects into the offline folder. However, when folders are checked out their contents are not added to the offline folder.

Before the offline library is created the objects are not locked. After the library has been created and the objects have been successfully checked out a black padlock is displayed against each object.
