Changing a Style's Icon

You can customize the Styles Toolbar that appears in the Topic Editor window.

To Change a Style's Icon:

You can change the picture that appears on a particular button.

  1. Open the Editor and choose Edit > Format > Format Dialog Box Launcher.
  2. Select the style in the Toolbar Styles list on the right.
  3. Choose Icon. The Select Picture window opens.
  4. Choose an icon or bitmap picture to represent the Style. Author-it comes with the icons used on the standard styles toolbar and these icons are usually installed in the ..\Author-it\Data\Icons\ directory. If you can't find them, ask your Author-it administrator for help. (A search on the Internet will also provide a huge array of icons to pick from.)
  5. Choose OK to save your changes.
