Moving Favorite Folders

The Favorite Folders pane can be organized to suit your own needs. The pane lets you add and reorganize the folders to create a structure independent of the Library Folders, and other users.

Where you drop a folder determines its position in the folder structure:

  • Drag the folder over the Favorites folder so its description is highlighted. Drop the object. The object will be added as a folder at the root level of the Favorite Folder structure.

  • Drag the folder over another folder in the Favorite Folder structure so its description is highlighted. Drop the folder. The new folder is added as a child of the highlighted folder, and demoted to the next level.

  • Drag the folder between two folders in the Favorite Folder structure so a solid line appears. Drop the folder. The new folder is added between the folders.
