Applies To

Use the Applies To tab to define which publishing format the profile relates to, which books can be published, and which release state the content must be in.

Publishing Format

The publishing format used by this profile.

Books

Lists the templates that books must be based on - or specific books - to publish using this profile. Alternatively, you can override this option by selecting All books - if you choose this option the profile can be used to publish all books in the library.

Release States

Used to control which content can be published, based on the release state that has been applied during the review cycle. For example, only "Released" content should be included in documents that will be published and distributed to external customers. Content in "Draft" should not be included. Select the release state from the drop-down list (or choose the [...] button and create a group of states), then choose Enforce or Warn. If Author-it finds any content that is not in the selected state publishing is stopped, and the publishing log lists the topics with the invalid release states.
