Adding a Profile

You can create new profiles to meet specific publishing needs.

To Create a New Profile:

  1. Select the folder you want the profile to be created in.
  2. In the main window choose Design > Display > Publishing Profile. The Publishing Profile window opens displaying the General tab.
  3. Enter a Description for the profile.
  4. Choose the Applies To tab. Select the publishing format for the profile from the drop-down list. Add the Book templates and/or Books you want to publish using this profile.
  5. Select the Release states that content must be in for publishing to complete, then:
    • Select Enforce to stop publishing if any objects in the book are not in the selected release state(s).
    • Select Warn to provide a list of any objects in the book that are not in the selected release state(s).
  6. Choose the Theme tab, then select the publishing template(s) that will be used by this profile. If required, create replacement rules, and add any additional files for HTML based outputs.
  7. Choose the Filters tab to add exclusion rules (optional).
  8. Choose the Actions tab to add any before or after publishing actions (optional).
  9. Apply the settings, then choose OK to save the profile and close the window.
