Using Cut, Copy, and Paste with Table Rows

When you are modifying tables you will sometimes need to copy or move a table row. Use the Table shortcut menu to access the cut, copy, and paste table row commands. Any text contained in the row is moved with the row.

To Cut or Copy a Table Row:

  1. Open the topic containing the table, or insert a table into the current topic.
  2. Move the cursor to a cell in the row to be moved or copied.
  3. Right-click in the cell and choose Cut row or Copy row from the shortcut menu.

To Paste a Table Row:

  1. Move the cursor to a cell in the table, the row will be pasted above or below the current row.
  2. Right-click in the cell and choose Paste row above or Paste row below from the shortcut menu.
