Deleting a Column from a Table

When modifying a table you will sometimes need to remove an entire column.

Warning: When you delete columns from a table, the information contained in the column is also deleted.

To Delete a Column from a Table:

1. Open the topic containing the table.
2. Move the cursor to a cell in the column to be deleted.
3. Choose from the Table Toolbar, or right-click in the cell and choose Delete Column from the table shortcut menu.
