How Do We Work Concurrently On The Same Library?

What is the best way of ensuring that two people can work concurrently in the same library? My colleague and I both have Author-it installed locally on our workstations, but both need to be able to create objects and import documents into the same library. Can I move the library to a network location and then access it from there ?

Answer

Author-it is specifically designed so that more than one person can work concurrently in the same library. You'll only need to move your library, the Templates folder, and any associated linked files, especially graphics.

Make sure you change the file locations on your workstations so that Author-it knows where to look for those server based files. (Tools > Options > File Locations).
