Suggested Directory Structure for Shared Components

In a multi-user environment, the Data folder should be moved to a shared location on the network. We suggest copying the entire Data folder keeping the structure intact. If you change the position of your Templates folder, relative to your Library, then you will also need to change relative file paths in several Author-it objects.

Note: All Author-it users require file system read/write permissions to the shared data files, and the ability to create and delete files in the directory containing the library or libraries. If a user does not have these permissions, they cannot open a library.
