Working With Text Strings

Website Manager creates a sitemap from the page names of imported content. The sitemap defines the structure used by the website, and is used to build the menu. In some situations the page name (or text string) will be too long to display in the menu. The page name is edited in the Sitemap screen. You may also need to edit the text string when the page has been translated.

To Change the Text String:

  1. Open the Content screen.
  2. Choose the language you want to update then choose the Sitemap sub tab.
  3. Double-click on the entry you want to update.
  4. Remove the checkmark from the Name uses page title option to make the name editable.
  5. Make your changes to the text string in the Name field.
  6. Choose Update to save the changes.
